For the past few years, I have been privileged to be the Vice President of Chippendales Entertainment. During that period I have again and again been struck by the loyalty and devotion of the Chippendales fans.

With your help we have been able to shut down many copycat groups using our name or our trademark Cuffs and Collar Trade Dress. With all this fan support, it is only natural that over the last few years we have also seen a proliferation of fan sites. There is no greater tribute to our brand when you – our fans – devote your own time, energy and money to create websites about your favorite group: CHIPPENDALES.

Unfortunately, as much as we love fan sites, we do need to make sure that they are never formatted in such a way as to suggest any official relationship or endorsement by Chippendales. We therefore must strongly request that you adhere to the following simple guidelines:

1. Please do not use our registered Chippendales logo or Trade Dress on your site.
2. Please do not create any of your own fan club merchandise that is offered for sale. You may, however, create merchandise that is sent to new members as part of a club membership fee. No merchandise should use the Chippendales logo or Cuffs and Collar Trade Dress.
3. You may include links to our official Chippendales website provided that in close proximity to that link you indicate that your site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Chippendales but operated independently by and for Chippendales fans.
4. You may not display links that compete or offer links to other sites that display pornographic materials.

If you comply with these regulations, we will list you on our fan site webpage located at www.chippendales.com.

We will also make available to each fan site that compiles with these guidelines 5 free passes a year to the Chippendales Show at the Chippendales Theater in The Rio in Las Vegas, which you may use or give to your members as see fit; provided of course, that you may not resell these tickets. The permission granted by this letter is conditioned on your compliance with these guidelines. We reserve the right to modify these guidelines from time to time and will notify registered websites of any changes. We also specifically reserve our legal rights to enjoin your use of the CHIPPENDALES trademarks and trade dress if, in our sole discretion, your implementation of these guidelines is done in a manner inconsistent with either the spirit of these guidelines or, in our sole discretion, tarnishes or is likely to tarnish or otherwise damage the CHIPPENDALES brand.
