This year's "Ribbon of Life" was held on June 10 & 11, 2006 at Bally's Las Vegas and is the largest HIV/AIDS fund-raiser in Nevada . When we were contacted by friends of Kentucky resident Cathy Hauenstein, a young mother of 5 recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and given less then one year to live, to participate in a benefit auction we were honored to contribute. In addition, we were asked to lend a hand to a Light the Night Golf Tournament Charity event in Gouverneur, NY, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma society and blood cancer research. The newly launched publication has been given a hip and slick makeover and threw a party to match its trendy new image. The celebration, held in an airport hanger, teamed with celebrities and media. Among the included guests were members of the "Blue Man Group" and comedian George Wallace.

Several attendees at Fridays Coldplay concert (at the sold out MGM Grand Garden Arena) reported that the frontman, Chris Martin, mentioned Chippendales, not once but TWICE during the awesome concert. He began the rock-solid concert by calling the Chippendales "tough competition" and "sexy" before launching into a version of "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face". Once again, he mentioned the Chippendales before closing the concert with the ballad "Fix You." Two of our Vegas cast were recently the hit at Preview Las Vegas! This yearly event, attend by movers and shakers within the tourism industry, was held at the Cox Pavilion at the Thomas and Mack Center, on Thursday Feb 2nd. Jace Crispen and Chaun Williams joined in the festivities by reading aloud a Letterman-style Top 10 List entitled "The Top 10 Reasons Vegas is Successful". The boys answer on the list, "More Hooters," referred to the opening of the Hooters Hotel and Casino which happened that same night.

The Men of Chippendales have been invited to participate in a celebrity studded poker tournament supporting Vegas's own Opportunity Village this Saturday, June 24th at Caesars Palace. Leading the pack of players will be famed magicians Siegfried and Roy. Opportunity Village, a well respected organization, serves the needs of intellectually challenged Las Vegans by providing offering vocational training, job placement, and social recreation programs. While its undecided which of our dapper gents will step up to the table, we know who ever does will bring their game face in support of this great cause. 
This year's "Ribbon of Life" was held on June 10 & 11, 2006 at Bally's Las Vegas and is the largest HIV/AIDS fund-raiser in Nevada . The Men of Chippendales posed for Polaroids with audience members, where all proceeds went to Golden Rainbow. The cast were very successful in raising money for the cause. Keep up the great work!!
We dont know either, but this past week over 400 of the nations finest gathered in Las Vegas under the direction of our beloved Oscar Goodman to join in the Conference of Mayors. In between super serious lectures (whose topics ranged from Avian flu to homelessness (the dignitaries were treated to a VIP Poker lesson and some fabulous entertainment, including a special appearance by the Men of Chippendales... just another great day on the job, don't you think?
And if you are filming an episode of the successful Women's Entertainment Network television show SheHouse, this is a great thing! The show, in which two designers compete to lend their flavor to a custom created dream house (which will then be given away to one lucky winner), will be filming an upcoming episode at the Chippendales Theater in Las Vegas. Women in the Flirt lounge will offer their preferences to the designers competing duds and pick their favorite to be used in the actual house. It always touches us at Chippendales when we can make a difference in the lives of our fans, in even the smallest way. When we were contacted by friends of Kentucky resident Cathy Hauenstein, a young mother of 5 recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and given less then one year to live, to participate in a benefit auction we were honored to contribute. In addition, we were asked to lend a hand to a Light the Night Golf Tournament Charity event in Gouverneur, NY, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma society and blood cancer research. To both events we wish the best of luck and send our warmest wishes. We hope that with our humble contribution and others generosity, you will surpass your goals.

A favorite of Chippendales, The Red Hat Society, a national social organization for women over 50 marked by their sassy red hats and purple attire, recently attended our Reno production. Showing up in full force, the ladies partied the night away and enjoyed special recognition from the cast, lead by Company Manager and show favorite Kevin Cornell. Anyone watching Saturday Night Live this past Saturday would have seen a gaggle of guys geared up in our signature collar and cuff trade dress for a skit featuring a bachelorette party in Las Vegas with celebrity host Lindsay Lohan. Granted, the guys used were no where near as scintillating as our sweeties, but we are flattered and thrilled that SNL included us in their show.

Four winners of a contest done with our partner, Undercoverwear, enjoyed the VIP treatment this past weekend at Chippendales, The Show in Las Vegas. The 8 woman (winners and guest) lived the high life from complimentary accommodations courtesy of the Rio to a private photo opportunity with the Men of Chippendales. During their dinner at the VooDoo Cafe high atop the Rio, Charles, Juan, Steve and Nathan were served as the sexy side dish. After dinner, the ladies partied in an exclusive VIP area just for them inside the Flirt Lounge. The trip was the result of a contest done in conjunction with Undercoverwear that wrapped in December. 
Everyone loves a wedding! We especially love em' at Chippendales when one of our own walks down the isles...But when TWO walk down together, its a cause for celebration in itself! Marc Swanson and Enza Dormizzi, our respective European Tour Manager and Wardrobe Mistress, will be tying the knot this Tuesday, March 21st in Lake Tahoe. The couple, who met while working on our tour, are exchanging their vows atop Heavenly Mountain, 9,156 feet above sea level. Among of 800 of Vegas's Who'se Who, The Chippendales joined in celebration of the launch of Las Vegas Magazine (LVM). The magazine, formally known as Showbiz, is distributed in 98% of hotel rooms on the Strip. The newly launched publication has been given a hip and slick makeover and threw a party to match its trendy new image. The celebration, held in an airport hanger, teamed with celebrities and media. Among the included guests were members of the "Blue Man Group" and comedian George Wallace.

This morning, members of our Vegas cast appeared on the Fox 5 Morning Show to help celebrate our One Year Anniversary in our custom designed theater at the Rio Hotel and Casino. The men featured were Charles (yes, he's back!) Jace, Bryan and Steve.
150 listeners of HOT 97.5 KVEG partied with on air personality Jayde at a "Ladies Night Out" at Chippendales this past Sunday. The event, done exclusively with the cool radio station, was designed to give Vegas gals something fun and sexy to do while their guys were at home watching the Big Game. The event was a huge success!
Several attendees at Fridays Coldplay concert (at the sold out MGM Grand Garden Arena) reported that the frontman, Chris Martin, mentioned Chippendales, not once but TWICE during the awesome concert. He began the rock-solid concert by calling the Chippendales "tough competition" and "sexy" before launching into a version of "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face". Once again, he mentioned the Chippendales before closing the concert with the ballad "Fix You." Apparently this intellectually adorable front man is a fan of Chippendales...or could it be that his beautiful bride, Gwynneth Paltrow, is the true fan at heart? Only time will tell... 
Two of our Vegas cast were recently the hit at Preview Las Vegas! This yearly event, attend by movers and shakers within the tourism industry, was held at the Cox Pavilion at the Thomas and Mack Center, on Thursday Feb 2nd. Jace Crispen and Chaun Williams joined in the festivities by reading aloud a Letterman-style Top 10 List entitled "The Top 10 Reasons Vegas is Successful". The boys answer on the list, "More Hooters," referred to the opening of the Hooters Hotel and Casino which happened that same night.
Charles Dera and Chaun Williams will be presenting an award at the upcoming 17th annual Pollstar awards in Las Vegas later this month. The Pollstar awards, which celebrate the best behind the scenes in the music business, will be held at Mandalay Bay. 
Two of our Vegas cast enjoyed a breakfast with the domestic diva herself, Martha Stewart, at the Hash House A Go Go. The breakfast was filmed for an episode of her show which will be aired sometime during February sweeps. We're hoping to catch a glimpse of this delightfully wacky paring on air.
